Our Fold
  • Damien Riley - Lead Singer/Guitar
  • Dan McLaren - Bass
  • Ryan Ambler - Drums
  • Aziz Ibrahim - Lead Guitar
Ourfold where born from two young college students and aspiring musicians, Ryan Ambler, drummer and Dan McLaren, guitarist, are introduced into a circle of friends with a mutual interest in music. One of these friends would be Damien Riley vovals.

Soon, the band would have their first few gigs booked. Overnight, Our Fold had become one of the most talked about bands in Bolton. This was only the beginning.

After the band had been into more recording studios in Manchester and Doncaster, they entered themselves into the Road to V competition with one of the stronger recordings Face To The Sky. Out of over 3000 bands, OurFold made it to the last 14. This pushed the band and got them slots at the Reading and Leeds festivals along with Glastonbury. After playing strong energetic sets, Our Fold caught the eye of Glaswegian label D Set Records who are now involved with the band.

The start of 2009 saw a big change in the Our Fold camp. The band seemed to be lacking in something, but still impressed former Stone Roses guitarist Aziz Ibrahim, who is now the lead guitarist of the band. With his unique style and amazing playing ability, he gave the band a new lease of life. After a busy summer of playing around the country and playing festivals such as Leeds & Reading again, Electric Picnic and Hove festival in Norway the band locked themselves away in the their rehearsal rooms to prepare for their debut album.

In 2010 they are now more confident than ever and are looking forward to playing the festival and the release of their debut single and album later this year.

Aaron Wright
Aaron Wright has spent the last couple of years building on a growing reputation as an charismatic singer/songwriter. He is joined by his band The Aprils who have helped give his act a fuller sound which has gone done well in a number of capacity crowds in London lately.

In the studio Aaron has recently finished recording his debut album with the help of Francis MacDonald(Teenage Fanclub) as producer and some guest appearances from the members of bands such as Belle and Sebastian and Camera Obscura so with such illustrious backing, things are looking up for Aaron Wright and the Aprils.

With Aarons musical influences firmly rooted with the likes of Dylan and Neil Young its his lyrical charm that sets him apart from his contemporaries.

Alfonzo
Alfonzo are a four piece band from Portobello, Edinburgh. They are:
  • Daniel McGeever - Vox, Keyboard
  • Mikey Cook - Guitar
  • Chris Cook - Bass
  • Andrew Innes - Drums
They've recently completed their debut album which was produced by award winning Scottish producer Jim Sutherland.

When Alfonzo recently released their debut single it was to a sold out Cabaret Voltaire in Edinburgh. Over the years they have built up a solid reputation for their live act which got them a nomination from the Wickerman festival as best live act for the indie awards in 2008.

They played the Glasgow Carling Academy last year with Travis and The Fratellis which was broadcast on national TV.

They have also done the festival circuit with highlights being the Latitude festival and then Frequency festival in Austria, so live is where they thrive. With a debut album coming out at the end of the summer Alfonzo are looking to give the British public back their infectious rock.
