Located in Glasgow, D Set Records is dedicated to finding the most innovative, original and exciting new musical talent in the U.K.
With such a flourishing music scene it seemed like the perfect time to get involved. Having promoted many gigs over the years between us we knew what we where looking for and Alfonzo with their chunky riffs and Beach Boy harmonies where certainly our kind of band so they were to become the first name on the D Set Records.
Aaron Wright also from Edinburgh would be the next artist after seeing him play a gig in the capital Aaron blew us away with his lyrical charm and unique vocals.
We are also delighted to announce our newest addition, Our Fold who hail from Bolton, have been hailed Local Geniuses and The hardest working band in the area by local critics. This has led to the enviable achievement of not only making, but topping the NME.COM unsigned chart at the time. All are currently making debut albums with singles coming out early 2009. So its exciting times for all involved.
